At The VCLA Agency, we firmly believe in the power of community and the profound impact that can be made when we come together for a common cause. 

We are honored to highlight the "Giving NYC" initiative, a partnership between Diego Toledo, the owner of Wolfpack Fitness, and the previously New York-based morning radio show "AFTERGLOW", a brand under the AGL Digital Corp. Family.

The initiative was inspired by Diego's deep desire to give back to those in need, especially during the difficult times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. In April 2020, he took action by opening a tab at a local pizzeria in New Jersey to provide food to those in need and made a call for donations to support his efforts. The response was overwhelming, and Diego quickly realized that he had the power to make a much larger impact with the help of the AFTERGLOW team. Together, Diego and the AFTERGLOW team discreetly provided meals and groceries to those in need within a 50-mile radius of Manhattan, including New Jersey. This initiative was not just a testament to the power of community but also to the impact that can be made when we come together to tackle critical social and environmental issues.

 

At The VCLA Agency, we are committed to making a positive impact on the world, and "Giving NYC" aligns perfectly with our mission. That's why we were thrilled to bring Diego to the morning radio show to raise awareness and encourage listeners to support the initiative. The response was incredible, with listeners reaching out to offer their support and the AFTERGLOW team, along with their personalities, producers, and interns, taking it upon themselves to deliver essential supplies to those in need. The "Giving NYC" initiative is more than just a partnership between two organizations. It is a powerful example of how one person's passion and dedication can inspire others to make a difference in their community. Diego's selfless act of generosity, matched with the support of the AFTERGLOW team, showed the world that anything is possible when we come together for a common cause.

 

Diego used his own resources, including over $10,000 of his own money, to support those in need, and his call for donations was answered with generosity from listeners and supporters. The AFTERGLOW team set up a text line for listeners to reach out for support at any moment, and the message was broadcasted live on their show for several days. The result was a surge of requests from those in need, and the AFTERGLOW team, along with their personalities, producers, and interns, sprang into action to provide essential supplies, including diapers, milk, water, food, and household supplies, to those in need.

 

The "Giving NYC" initiative serves as a shining example of the positive impact that can be made in our communities. At The VCLA Agency, we are proud to have been a part of this inspiring initiative and will continue to actively seek out ways to support our communities and tackle critical social and environmental issues. 

 

We believe that anyone can make a difference, no matter their resources, and we are honored to be a part of the "Giving NYC" story.
